My Granny Alice used to make this cake every holiday, and I'm so glad she taught me how to make it. This is a rare find as I only see it in Florence, SC or the Gary/Chicago area. This decadent three layer vanilla cake is moist, buttery, and made with a boiled caramel icing poured on all three layers.
 
Ingredients: Sugar, flour, milk, butter, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, almond extract, and sea salt.
